ROW BY ROW EXPERIENCE IS ON!

The U. S. nationwide/Canadian quilters hop called Row By Row continues through September 8. Here's how it works. Each shop that is participating will have a pattern for the row that they have designed. The theme for this year is water, so rows will have something to do with water. There is no passport to keep track of or stamps to get. This gives you a chance to visit stores in other states if you travel on vacations and get patterns for their rows. Each state has a facebook page where you can see rows, license plates and which stores are "rowing".

Here's Iowa's https://www.facebook.com/IARowbyRowExperience?fref=ts

Also here is the main Row By Row page with a maphttp://www.rowbyrowexperience.com/quilt-shops.htm

For example, our row is pictured below. When you come into the shop, if you ask for one, you will receive a free copy of this Friendly Froggy pattern. We do have kits that are available with the fabric, ribbon and buttons to make this row. YOU MUST BE PHYSICALLY IN FIBERWORKS TO GET A FREE PATTERN OR PURCHASE A KIT TO TAKE HOME. The designers hold the copyright for these patterns even though they are given free to in store customers that request one so they may not be legally copied to share with anyone else. After October 31st, we will list the kit with pattern and the pattern separately on our web site where it may be purchased and mailed to you at that time - not before. If you wish to order one and pay for it from afar now, you may do so but it will NOT be mailed until November 1st. Please don't ask me or my staff to bend or break these guidelines as I have given my word to follow the rules. I do not wish to jeopardize my opportunity to do this again next year.

We have a winner for our basket of 25 fat quarters. Congratulations to Susan Ackerman from Allison. She has allowed us to display her cute quilt so come on in and take a look at it.

We also have a fabric license plate available for purchase BORN 2 QLT

This is our row for the Row By Row Experience. We have "Friendly Froggy and a couple of flowers on three lily pads accented with Just Another Button Company buttons. Our row can be put either horizontally or vertically and can be used with either edge at the top.

Thanks to all the AISH hoppers that visited our shop. We still have magazines with maps, store information and passport that are now only $2.50. These are great to use as a year round quilt shop directory. It also includes six project patterns using the Iowa fabric for this event.

proud to be an IowanThis is the pattern 3 Jars Full has designed for the Iowa fabrics for this year. We did also use one from 2014 that we had left over. We have kits and patterns available for sale in the store.

We have some of the feature fabrics made exclusively for the 2015 All Iowa Shop Hop. When these bolts are gone they will not be reprinted. . Think patriotic - quilts of valor. (I do have some of the white/gray print with the counties on it from last year left if anyone didn't get some of that and still needs some.)

All are invited to our Sit and Stitch times. We have added an afternoon on the second Thursday of the month from 1:00-5:00 for those who would like an earlier session. The evening meet is usually on the fourth Thursday of the month (depends on holiday dates) from 5:00-8:00. Bring your own project to work on and any "how to" questions you might have.

ALL THAT JAZZ - BLOCK OF THE MONTH

The blocks are kitted up and ready to go out the door for All That Jazz Block of the Month. This quilt will finish as a queen size. The cost is spread out over six months at $30.00 per month. It uses the lovely fabric designed by Ann of Grizzly Gulch called Poppy Panache. I do have other patterns that use this fabric as well. Call 1-800-307-4103 to get signed up for your set now.

Shipping is figured after your order is placed as it is based on weight rather than purchase amount. We will email you with USPS cost after we receive your order if you would like. Flat rate priority is often the cheapest way to ship fabric because of the weight. Packages are usually sent first class or parcel post depending on weight. If you want insurance on your package please say so in the comment box. We do not replace lost merchandise if you choose not to insure your packages. We have had very few go astray, but there is that chance. Any shipping questions or concerns may be addressed in the comment area.

We have tried to logically catagorize our inventory and you may click on the buttons to take you to the products about which you'd like more information. When you'd like to make purchases, you may use our toll free number: 1-800-307-4103, email (please do not send credit card numbers by email for security reasons) or the shopping cart system. Feel free to contact us with comments about our site - what you like or would like to see in the future.
