I have finished the Long Dog Pigalle Sampler piece. The back stitching, while time consuming, adds the detail that makes this piece what it is.

Jeanne stitched the body and I finished with the back stitching. What would peacocks be without their tail feathers?

I have it in the frame ready to hang on the wall. We will show this one in the Prairie Rose E.G.A. Exhibit that is coming up in April in Cedar Falls. I will have more details about the dates and location at a later date. Doesn’t it feel good to finish pieces!
Last night I worked on my Mystique canvas piece that is a cyber course through A.N.G. We don’t have a chapter close around here so I belong as a member-at-large and also joined the Cyber Pointers chapter on-line.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the Love To Shop Hop Trail coming up right after Easter on April 10-13. There will be seven shops participating in the hop: Fiberworks Needlework Shop and Moose Patch in Waverly, Dralles in Greene, Prairie Rose Fabrics in Clarksville (a new shop to our hop), Crazy to Quilt and Lulijunes in Cedar Falls and Jen’s Needlework in Aplington. Great door prizes for all hoppers who visit all 7 shops and turn in their stamped cards at the end. There will be a mystery pattern and fabric, too.

Then in June (1-20) we will be participating in the All Iowa Shop Hop. http://www.alliowashophop.com/ this is the web site you can visit to see the list of shops – 82 – all across Iowa that will be involved this year.
