Our weather has been crazy this winter with below zero temperatures one day and in the 30’s the next. It is like riding on a roller coaster. We have never had a problem with water freezing until this year. My neighbor to the west and I have been frozen a couple of times outside under the street in the last two weeks. We’re just a little put out because we can’t flush, but they are a beauty parlor and really use the water a lot during the day. When our water returned without explanation, I have left a small stream run in the sink so it won’t refreeze, hopefully. I read a article that the frost is down in the ground four feet this year. Now weatherman is forecasting blizzard conditions for the end of the weekend and -8 with strong winds for Monday.
The last market in Nashville for needlework vendors will be mid February so watch for new things to come out after that. I think designers have been saving new product for release there so January hasn’t been overflowing with new stuff.
We got some fun new fabric with teddy bears on it in yesterday from SPX called Bear Hugs. Also one from Henry Glass called Kitty Kat Kapers – love the K’s!
