Here is the picture of the AISH table mat using the feature fabrics from this year’s hop. I used the shape of Iowa that was in the hop magazine reduced to 85% to quilt the center of the mat which is about 9 1/2″ square. The Kona solids, half of a charm square, around the outside are from the north central region. The Shadow fabric is on the back. We still have all three fabrics available for purchase if you haven’t gotten yours yet.
We are almost to the last week of the Erica Michaels’ trunk show. Remember even though the models are worked on 40 count silk gauze, you can do these patterns on regular cross stitch fabrics and then you don’t have to fill in the background like you do on the silk and it is easier to see.
