Finally got our All Iowa Shop Hop fabrics in and have a couple of projects made from them. The first one is an adaptation of the purse or tote that is in the AISH magazine for the North Central Region, which we are in.
The next one is a banner of porch flag. It is very simple to make. We added some bright stripes to the bottom to accent the colors of Iowa that are printed on the map fabric. The orange letters are the color of Kona cotton that we are giving out charm squares to the hop participants when they stop in. Think Wartburg ORANGE!

Remember we have beautiful models from Erica Michaels on display. The patterns for these are 10% off for one or 15% off for two or more. If you don’t want to do them on silk gauze as shown, you may always stitch the pattern on a bigger count of your choice. And then you don’t have to fill in the background, either!

I have never seen any actual Wartburg fabric printed like the ISU & UI that I have. I will look on Tuesday and see if I still have anything with black and orange. I think I have an orange with black dots piece. I did have a blk/org chevron but think that one is gone.
