The next edition of the Fridge Art Club has arrived. The next four designs include Tommy (turkey), Harvest (pumpkin, acorn and star), Yes Please (martini glass), and Happy Hour (an olive with the words “why is happy only an hour?”). These work up quickly and are very simple. They can be stitched on 14, 18, 22, 28, 32 or 36 count material – your choice. Remember they do come with the mounting board and magnet backing.
Also just in today is the newest limited edition ornament from Just Nan called Batty Boris. He is a colorful bat dressed for Halloween! The other new pattern from Nan is called October Eve and says “Listen! The wind is rising and the air is wild with leaves. We have had our summer evenings now for October Eves!” It comes with the bead accents and a spooky jack o lantern charm.
I got four boxes of quilting fabric yesterday. A new series from Leanne Anderson called Why? The animals are as adorable as can be. Also the fabric is mostly here for our next block of the month as this year’s is winding down. It is called Poppy Panache and will be used for the All That Jazz pattern done by Ann of Grizzly Gulch, who also designed the fabric. It has beautiful red poppies and upbeat patterns on the tonals. Be sure to reserve your spot for this one! We will start in January as I will have everything kitted up and ready to go.
